Hi. My name is Cindy. I have a story. But I am mostly interested in yours. I am an Independent Wellness Consultant and Researcher. I believe in people and what they feel. Right now I am interested in what you experience when you feel liver pain.
What do you feel when the discomfort seems to come from your liver? Does it feel like liver pain? Doctors often tell us the liver doesn’t feel pain, so it can’t be liver pain.
Your liver might just be overworked and congested.
Consider these effects associated with liver dysfunction:
- Exhaustion and Fatigue
- Hypothyroidism
- Anemia
- Weight Gain or Weight Loss
- Mineral Deficiency
- Water Retention
- Chemical Sensitivities
- Constipation and Diarrhea
- Headaches
- Hormonal Imbalances
- Inability to Tolerate Cold or Heat
- Bloating
- Sluggish Metabolism
- Low Energy
- Anger and Depression
- Eczema, Acne, Hives, Rashes and Itchy Skin
- Diarrhea
- Muscle Pain
- Heartburn
- Nausea
Going untreated and ignored can have serious effects on our livers. If there is discomfort coming from the area of the liver, in my opinion, you better take it seriously.
I hope to hear from you and your experiences. Please leave a comment, and stay plugged in as we explore more about the sensation of liver pain.

Does the liver really feel pain? Well, no. We are the ones who feel pain. The liver can send signals of discomfort, or distress. That is the way we know if something is wrong. Without liver pain, or discomfort in the area of the liver, how would we know if there were a problem?
Liver Pain has been something most doctors dismiss because they insist that the liver is an organ and organs do not feel pain. Well, my purpose here is not to ague whether livers feel pain or not, but to address the issue that tenderness, discomfort, or pain in the general area of the liver means trouble.
Liver pain is on the right side, mostly right under the rib cage, and up. There can be free fluid around the liver in the abdominal cavity which will produce pain in the right shoulder. It probably hurts to breathe in, or cough. Sometimes people describe the feeling as a swollen full feeling or cramping under the rib cage.
Pain caused from a swollen liver is not necessarily sharp. Most of the time ‘liver pain’ is described as a dull ache, sometimes being wrongly attributed to fibromyaliga.
I will be discussing more about this latter. If you have a comment, insight or personal experience, I would love to hear about it. Please leave your comments and thoughts.
Thanks

Hi Tammy,
I’m sorry for your pain, both in the liver and the heart. I honestly can say I feel your pain. I have been there too… the misunderstanding, the ‘undiagnosed’ diagnosis, or in my case, ‘it’s all in your head’. Well, it’s not, and it was not for me. And prayer was the only thing that got me through it.
I found a place…for total wellness. It’s not about a pill or a method or counciling. It’s about creating a way for the body to heal itself. After all, even doctors can’t ‘heal’ you. They either give you something to cover up the discomfort so you don’t notice it, or cut something out in hopes to stop it. And, it’s not ‘all in your head’ either. The mind does play a part in any treatment, but, in my opinion, by itself, the mind can’t correct physical problems by itself.
If I offer you a CD would you listen to it? Are you willing to do some investigation yourself? I am suggesting you listen with an open mind, study it out in your own mind, and pray. You were sent here to earth to get a body and learn to take care of it. It is no one’s responsibility to do that but your…. not the doctor’s… not your husband… not the Lord. But, the Lord will help you to find the answers. I’m sorry about the problems in the past. Remember, He too suffered pain. How else could he understand? He too was misunderstood and misjudged by people. I truly believe that although it has been a long time, everything you have gone through will be for good if you let it. Look at all the people you can help by truly understanding what they are going through. Your faith alone will help many who do not have faith. (BTY, did you know that faith is a belief in something that is TRUE, not simply a strong will or belief.)
This CD is not a religious one, but talks about health principles… like the need for good water, good nutrition, clean air, restful sleep, exercise and harmonizing with the earth’s magnetic field. All these elements are necessary for the body to heal itself.
My advise is to let the Spirit guide. Let Him who knows what is wrong with your body guide you. It seems to be the common comment among the people I work with to say “I’ve got my life back”. That is what I am offering you. Remember, a trip of a thousand miles begins with one simple step. The first thing you have to do is be willing to seek your own answers.
If you would like this free CD, I will be willing to send it to you free of charge. I don’t usually offer to do this, but in your case I think you are worth it.
My very best regards,
Cindy

Hi Tammy
I also suffer from pain in my liver area. The pain is just under my breasts and like you the only way to help with the pain is to lye down. I also go and have a shower and rub the area under the hot water which seems to help but like you my life changed for the worse. Another sympthom is belching. Sometimes it can be excessive and other times not much but after nearly ever meal I belch and not just once, several times. (Do you suffer with belching?) I am no longer the bubbly, outgoing, confident person I was 3 years ago and my doctor thinks it’s all in my head. My husband also is very frustrated and worries about me and wants answers. My children are also worried about their mother who is in bed by 6pm.

Cindy, what your saying is correct and I have faith and everything works for the good. So I was wondering if I can get a free cd
Mark
October 31, 2013 at 4:52 pm
Hi Mark, I don’t have a CD dedicated to liver pain. What I do have is info on over-all wellness… and the live is a major player in establishing health. Our livers are WAY overworked because of our modern lifestyle. It just makes sense to cleanse it. If you would like more information I would be happy to share… no sales talk.

Hi Tammy I’m in the same boat as you. I have chronic HCV since 1985 from a blood transfusion. My liver definitely hurts most of the time it is a dull ache. At time it is a debilitating pain. It feels like some thing is taking my liver and wringing it out like you would do with a dish cloth. When this happens the pain is unbearable. I cannot move. It lasts about 20/30 seconds. I don’t care how many Doctors claim the liver feels no pain. I know better. I feel the pain. I’m Genotype 3a.
July 28, 2010 at 11:47 pm
I get sharp pains that go around to my back, and a too full feeling.Just started. I use olive oil in stir fry veggies-which has never bothered me before this. I’m really into health, good diet, good weight, sleep well, etc. This happened before in my 20’s and my gallbladder was removed. Its the same kind of pain. So I now know there wasn’t anything wrong with my gall bladder. I’m under a lot of stress, has intensified over the last few weeks. I’m hoping this is the problem. I don’t like doctors and the drugs they hand out for everything. I’m into natural remedies and will look into that for a liver cleanse. I would appreciate any comments of those who did a natural treatment with positive results.
Thank you-
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl,
I’m sorry about your pain. I am no doctor. I can only tell you what I would do and it is just my opinion.
Now that you have gall stones ruled out, there is a very good chance it is your liver. They are so closely connected.
I suggest you look at this article: Common Sense Suggestions For Liver Pain. Both the links at the bottom of the page are of value as well.

I am so sick of doctors that don’t hear us when we tell them what is wrong! My liver is visibly swollen and yes, it hurts. When I move in twisting way, it becomes a stabbing pain that drops me to my knees. I had my VERY infected gall bladder taken out six years ago, so it isn’t that. Instead my doctor ordered tests to do with heartburn and such. I am not stupid, I know what heartburn is but I played along with it. I eventually went to see a cancer guy because my blood work is always showing high white blood count and when he saw the swelling in my liver, he was like…oh wow, that is bad, you need to get it checked out. But then my health insurance expired and I was let go from job of 15 years because I couldn’t afford a doctor anymore!!!! This is what America has turned into!!!!!

Hello, thanks for the article.
I am 16 and I suffered a liver injury (subcapsular haematoma with liver lacerations) last year after an accident on an obstacle/low ropes course which caused a blunt abdominal trauma. I was in hospital for 2 weeks and in this time the pain was so intense I was on morphine and tramadol. When I left I was still on tramadol. I had an ultrasound on my liver in February and it’s September now. The scan showed that I still had a haematoma the size of a small orange. At that time, I was still in a tiny bit of pain but not regularly.
Now, my liver area still hurts a little bit sometimes but it’s definitely nowhere near as severe as before. It’s a sort of stabbing/aching pain that I get occasionally but it’s mild and passes after a few seconds or so. I was just wondering you think this pain is normal and if it will be there for a few more years or even life. I think the consultant mentioned something about the pain never completely going away but can’t remember.
Thanks! 🙂
September 5, 2012 at 12:50 pm
Hi Georgia,
Gosh, I’m glad you are alright. Sorry about the injury. Pain is always the bodies way of telling you something is wrong. I think your liver is just talking to you, probably telling you to not forget there is still trauma.
I’m no doctor, but if it were me, I would make sure I drank healthy water, not just purified water. My choice is pi-mag water from Nikken. I have had some amazing results with this water. It is very affordable, under $400.00 and the unit will last a lifetime if you replace the filters 3 X a year. (filters are about $30.00) I can’t tell you strongly enough how important I feel this water is for our liver health. And I would take the Liver Support for at least a couple of months. I can have a consultant call you if you want to know more. It doesn’t cost anything and they can answer your questions.
Please let me know if you want to talk to someone. You can email Carolyn Call if you like. She can help. carolyn@callsite.com

I have had a dull continuous ache in the liver area for quite sometime. I am a drinker and work with solvents most weeks. I was diagnosed with a fatty liver. After a few months of diet and alcohol control the pain is still there.
It borders on nauseous at times although it does go away when I lie down eg bedtime.I have suffered most of my adult life with reflux and have only just found the correct medication to ween me off Quickees.I am concerned about my liver
January 18, 2008 at 2:46 pm
Hi John,
Thanks for the comment. The reflux problem is not fun either, is it. (That is a statement, not a question. 🙂 )
Check out this website and this study. There is a liver cleanse pill that has a 70% success rate in normalizing liver functions in 30 days. It takes a theraputic dose, but it is safe.
http://medicaladvancements.googlepages.com/liverkidneycleanse
–Now remember ‘helping’ is not ‘curing’. It has taken years to get in this condition, and it may take years to get out of it.
Toxins from the solvents also build up in the liver and add to the problem, as I see it.
If you like cars, you might like this website as well. It talks about maintaining your body like you would your car. …afterall, this body is the only vehicle we will ever have to get through this ole life!

Good luck to you on your quest for liver health. Let me know what you experience. Liver problems are one of those things we have to take charge of ourselves.

What is Liver Pain? « Liver Pain Weblog
liver pain is a deep and terrible thing. Finding out whether you have it and what to do about it are critical and this article gets you started well on your way
February 26, 2008 at 5:05 pm
Hello,
I have had a dull ache in my ride upper side for 3 months on and off and went to the doctors and had a blood test for the liver. It showed AOP liver funtion was normal. With the blood test would it show any other abnormalities? I am also scheudled for an ultrasound.
September 26, 2009 at 6:15 pm
I had pain under my ribs for years. I went through the blood work & ultrasound to be told everything was fine. I went to the chiropracter thinking maybe it was a rib out. That wasn’t it. I Finally saw a Kinesiologist and she told me it was from wheat & dairy. I thought she was crazy. But I tried it and less then a week the pain was gone. I have to tell you once the pain is gone I felt wonderful again. Every now and then I eat the wheat and or dairy and the pain is back. It is a reminder that I have to becareful of what I eat if I want to be pain free. My regular doctors still will not do allergy test. I have to keep tract of the things I eat not to eat them again if the pain returns.
September 29, 2009 at 8:11 pm
Hi Carol,
Even though your blood work and ultrasound doesn’t show signs of liver damage, don’t rule out the possibility that the liver is under stress. Many times it is not the liver that is diseased, but because it cleanses the blood and directly contributes to the functions of other organs, when it becomes over worked, it will send out pain signals. Even if it is not the liver it’s self that is diseased, by helping the liver with it’s primary function, you help the real source of the problem become apparent or heal. It is far better to avoid liver damage than try to correct it once it has happened. …and again, don’t overlook the importance of water in that process. You can’t cleanse with dirty water.
Good luck, and if there is anything else I can do just let me know. I know a good affordable source of water and a terrific liver supplement.
February 29, 2008 at 2:30 am
Hi Rosario,
Sorry to hear about your ache. Many times the blood tests don’t show much until it is almost too late, …at least until so much damage is done that it is hard to reverse it. A good liver cleanse never hurts, and even if the liver is not the problem it only would help the liver in its function. The liver influences as many as 500 other functions in the body. Most of us have way overworked livers under the best conditions.
Have you ever heard of ‘live blood analysis’? Sometimes that can pick up on problems in the body sooner than the regular blood test done at the doctors.
I wish you the best.

Last fall on our way to our first time to Disney World with my kids, I started to feel heavy in my chest and had a feeling like someone was sticking their knuckles in the liver area. It lasted almost til we got halfway there. Then, I had a horrible night where my heart raced and felt like I couldn’t get out of bed w/out fainting. It was very scary. I know enough about nutrition and cleansing to know that my body was just cleaning house as I had gone off gluten due to fatigue constantly and suspected a gluten allergy. We had to turn around and go home as I was scared I wouldn’t feel well for the trip. I consulted the nutritionist and natural dr. I know and they said those were all signs of a congested liver that just is trying to clean out. I allowed it some time, but didn’t do a complete liver flush like I should have. I felt better and we were able to return a month later to Disney World. I slowly started eating gluten again around the holidays and this month started feeling that ache again! I am now doing a month of severe healthy eating, staying off of gluten and sugar and getting ready to do a liver flush. I don’t think I allowed it to fully heal the last time and have learned my lesson, it is not fun! I also have had ache where my pancreas is, think my blood sugar is messed up. Please listen to your body, it will try to tell you something. I believe God made our bodies to heal themselves given the opportunity.
March 23, 2011 at 2:44 pm
Hi Tiffany,
We are birds of the same feather. I too believe our bodies were made to heal themselves. We were given bodies to learn how to take care of them. It is our responsibiliy, not the doctor’s. Pain or discomfort is the way our body talks to us. It is when we don’t listen that we end up in serious trouble.
Have you ever thought maybe you have a heavy metals overload? The liver can’t rid itself of heavy metals. I have found it helpful when doing a liver flush to first take liquid zeolite… get rid of the heavy metals and then cleanse the liver.
How do you flush your liver? Remember how important the kind of water is when flusing or cleansing. In my opinion, if you are not drinking good, balanced water with plenty of oxygen, you are only getting 1/2 the benefit of any flush or supplement you are taking. In order to get to the bottom of your liver problem, water is probably the most important element. If you have read any of my postings, you will notice that I love pi-mag water. I suggest you check it out.
My favorite liver cleanse is not a flush. You might need a flush, but to heal the liver, if it were me, I would take Liver Support. It is a whole food artichoke and sasparilla supplement that works wonders. It is also good for the blood sugar. It is inexpensive and not something you have to take all the time. But, it really works. It even has a money back guarentee.
Use this code if you want to order some, it will save you money without having to buy a membership. TSE-2011

I have had a pain in my upper right abdomen for over 10 years. They removed my gall bladder as it was non-functioning, but that did not help the problem at all. The doctors have said it is most likely IBS, but I truly do not believe this is true. The pain is not always associated with eating and has even woken me up at night. There are times that the pain is so severe that I cannot continue walking. I had recently had a CT scan and was told it was normal. I will be having another scope next month, but how do I push for the doctor to focus on my liver? Unfortunately, I am overweight and the pain has increased as my weight has increased. Any advice you have will be appreciated.
March 10, 2008 at 2:32 pm
Sorry to hear about your struggles. I’m not a medical doctor, and so I am not trying to advise you on anything. I’m only making suggestions of avenue you might want to look into. I have seen wonderful results from people who do something as simple as change the water they are drinking. Have you heard of pimag-water? Water is so important for the health of body cells. It flushes away toxins, and is the solvent that transports nutrients and medications and gets them into the cells where they need to go.
Pharmaceutical companies have learned they have to use purified water to do the testing because there are so many contaminants in our water now that the medication reacts differently depending on what is exposed to.
Do you know much about acidity? Most of us are acidic, and most of us are dehydrated. We are dehydrated not because we don’t drink enough liquid, but because the body can’t internalize the water because of the filtration and purification processes we use today to make the water safe to drink.
Anyway… why don’t you check out this website: http://medadvance.googlepages.com/pi-magwater
It just makes sense that this kind of water would help. I would start with that before I would do any supplements or weight loss program.
And about your weight. I have a great CD I would send you free of charge if you want. It doesn’t push any product, but it talks about how weight problems are not just a case of overeating, it is a problem of body balance. If your body is in proper working order, there is no weight problem. There are a lot more factors in weight gain than over-eating.
If you would like one of these CDs, just drop me a line with where to send it. IT probably would be safer if you emailed your address to me. …you know the dangers of the internet. (my husband is in law enforcement, so he is always cautioning me about that.)
I will email you my address.
Here’s to a healthier, happier you!

I too have been diagnoised with fatty deposits in the liver 11/2007. I am 5’4″ & weighed 193lbs @ the time of diagnosis. To make matters more confusing I am a beer drinker & have been for many years. My question is how do you determine if your fatty liver is NAFLD or AFLD? Is there a blood test that determines this? Had blood work done in 11/2007 with AST/ALT 2 times level. Jan/2008 repeat & were back in the normal ranges. I have lost over 25lbs/no beer since 11/2007 & exercise 3-4 times a wk. Not sure what else to do to reverse the condition. Any suggestions?
March 12, 2008 at 3:31 pm
Gosh, I don’t know about the tests. John, Rosario, Denise, any of you know?
My suggestion while you continue your search is to do a liver cleanse. There are many on the market and a lot you can do for yourself. This is NOT in place of following medical advise or having tests taken to diagnosis and identify the type and cause of your liver problem. Cleansing is cleaning…tuning up…preparing so you can get the most from the treatment, or so the body can heal itself. Don’t confuse a liver cleanse with a bowel or intestinal flush. It is the liver you want to target, and then make sure it moves through your bowels so the toxins are not reabsorbed back into the blood stream.
There are lots of products out there, but you might want to check out this one: http//medadvance.googlepages.com/home

I have had a dull ache in the upper right abdomen just under the rib cage off and on for about 8 months. I tried acupuncture and chinese herbs to help clense the liver. It seemed to help for a while until I got serious about changing my diet. For a month now I have followed an eating plan of 1-2 salads a day using fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, high quality protein, limited whole grains – no wheat, pasta, bread though; also no suga or refined products and no dairy.
Tha second week of doing this the liver pain came back on and off again. It mostly comes after waking up in the morning and eventually goes away after eating something substantial. I wondered if you had any suggestions. Thank you.
May 9, 2008 at 8:26 pm
Hi Lucy,
Sorry about your discomfort. I defiantly believe in the effects of diet and health.
In my opinion, and let me remind you, I’m not a doctor, but in my opinion, you need something to help heal the liver as well. Cleansing is good. Herbs are good. Acupuncture is good. Diet is good. You certainly have done the right things in my opinion, but you may need a little more (obviously).
There are a couple of other things you can do to continue healing the live:
1. Change your water to pi-water (here is a link to see what I’m talking about: http://medadvance.googlepages.com/pi-magwater )
2. I know of a Liver Pill that not only cleanses the liver, but helps it to heal. Here is a link to that: http://medicaladvancements.googlepages.com/liverkidneycleanse
3. And one more suggestion: put a magnet over the area of discomfort. That may sound hooky, but it isn’t. The Chinese have been using them for years to help the healing process. Not all magnets are created equal.
I recommend the Nikken Brand. The website is not wonderful, but I will send you what I have. http://www.nikken.com/magnetictechnology/ If you want to try a magnet, let me know, I can get it for you for cost plus 10%. I truly believe in the magnets.
I hope this helps, and I hope you find relief. The body doesn’t send pain signals for no reason. There is something wrong, even if it’s not going to kill you!
Hope to hear from you soon.

Please email me about the CD you have about weight problems. I’ve just been diagnosed with possible NAFLD or NASH. Too soon to tell and I’m searching the internet now for some information. Saw your site and started reading.
Thanks in advance,
Karen
June 5, 2008 at 11:31 pm
My husband seems to have a form of NAFLD also. He is very fit, but he is insulen resistant. Have you ever heard of Eat Right For Your Blood Type? I can’t remember the author right off the top of my head J But it seems to work pretty well for him. But I do sware by the Bio-Directed Liver Support. It just makes sense that eveything would work better if the Liver is. How long has it been since you cleansed your liver?? Most would say: ‘never’.
Here is some info I got from From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
A large number of treatments for NAFLD have been studied. While many appear to improve biochemical markers such as alanine transaminase levels, most have not been shown to reverse histological abnormalities or reduce clinical endpoints:
· Treatment of nutrition and excessive body weight:
o Nutritional counseling: Diet changes have shown significant histological improvement.
o Weight loss: gradual weight loss may improve the process in obese patients; rapid loss may worsen NAFLD. The bad effect of rapid weight loss is controversial: the results of a meta-analysis showed that the risk of progression is very low
o A recent meta-analysis presented at the Annual Meeting of American Association for Study of Liver Diseases(AASLD) reported that weight-loss surgery leads to improvement and or resolution of NASH in around 80 % of patients
· Insulin sensitisers (metformin and thiazolidinedione shave shown efficacy in some studies.
· Antioxidants and ursodeoxycholic acid, as well as lipid-lowering drugs, have little benefit.
I’ll email you about the CD. Actually I have a couple of them you might be interested in. They don’t talk about NAFLD specifically though.

Hi Al,
Sorry to hear about your problems. I want you to know I am not a medical doctor, and so I am not trying to give you any medical advise. I am a Wellness Consultant though. What I do is just offer advise based on experience and research. What I want to do is help you to help yourself. And, yes, from what I know, it sounds like you have liver problems in some form or another. If you are lucky, you will experience discomfort before problems show up in blood tests. That may be what you are experiencing. …which is great because you can save your liver from having serious damage which causes so many other problems in the body. The liver is vitally related to over 500 over functions.
And, as to your acne. Yes. Definitely Yes. Your skin is another way the body tries to rid itself of toxins. If the liver is overloaded and can’t do it, the body will try to send toxins out through the skin. Acne is one of the most apparent of symptoms of a toxic liver.
Just as a suggestion, find a good body cleanse first. There are a number of them out there. Sometimes just adding lemon to your water (pure water, of course) will help. I recommend a little more aggressive action than that however. The best one I have found is from Nikken. It not only cleanses the liver, but the blood (where the liver dumps some of the toxins) and the colon (where the rest of the toxins are eliminated). If the body is not able to eliminate the stuff that is making it hurt, it doesn’t help to detox the liver, because all that happens is it re-circulates them back around.
I would try a good cleanse. This one from Nikken is only about $20.00 and will last a couple of months or more. (Also, it is very gentle and you don’t have to change what you eat or drink, as long as what you are eating and drinking is good for you :), and you don’t have to stay close to the bathroom. )
Let me know if I can help with more info. You are wise to do something now, before your liver does show damage by medical tests.

Hi there,
I stumbled on this site by accident. For some time now I have been having pains in the liver area. Mostly when I’m having dinner and drinks together.
My pain I can only describe as shooting pains, pulsating at intervals of about 5 – 10seconds. It feels a lot like when you’re running and you get pain in your sides.
I’m overweight, tough not grossly. (6’7″, 255lbs.) I do, however, feel it has to do with my bad eating habits.
August 18, 2008 at 2:17 pm
Sorry, I forget to mention:
After or during these pains, I usually get really sweaty. Especially in my face, chest and back / upperbody. I dont know if it’s related. Just thought I’d mention it.
Otherwise I’m perfectly healthy.

I have terrible sweats too it is not menopausal it is definitly when the liver pain is at its worst

Ang, Sorry to hear it. Cysts can be very painful, and doctors seem to not take them serious. They can drain them or even surgically remove them, but most doctors don’t take them as a serious problem. Your liver has so much to do with your overall health it is too bad, because if there is a cyst, the liver is stressed…so how is it suppose to function?
There is another problem associated with this kind of pain… it is called adrenal fatigue. You might look into to that. If it has been that long since you have had problems with liver pain, I would bet your adrenals are stressed too, —and they can cause the same kind of pain in the same general area, but most often it rotates to the back and down a little.
Good luck, and let us know what you find out. If you want any advise as to alternatives you can try let me know. Most people have had so much advise that you are sick of advise. What you really want is solutions. The problem is that the only thing you can do is to keep trying things.
I really hope you can find something to help.

Check your gall bladder. I’m no doctor, but you might want to check that out.
Let me know. 🙂

So Im in some trouble.
A year ago I was diagnosed with 6 ulcers, 2 in my rectum, 4 in my smaller intestine.
I took my time with natural remedies of healing such as diet and herbs.
I also made the transition to an all vegan diet right around the same time aswell.
So things I treated with were mastic gum, aloe vera, vitamin e, dgl licorice root, marshmellow root, bio-k(probiotics), so then after around 6 – 8 months, no more cramps no more stomach bloating or incredable pains..
However just this year in the last 3 months I started feeling sick.
In the last month or so I would feel a dull pain right where the border line of my rib is interestingly enough, My pain has never traveled up (totally under my ribcage, or to my back ONLY right at the borderline of my ribcage), however if I feel at the borderline of the rib cage, and then continue further down the pain follows my hands.
So this past weekend I had another colonoscopy.
They located 9 more ulcers in my colon or larger intestine.
This time the ulcers have left me absent from work for the last week or so. I cannot go out without these horrable stomach aches, becuase the difference between these ulcers and last year, was I never got a really bad stomach ache last year. I only got cramps and bloating.
But this time the stomach aches spike up so heavy they can make me nauseated for a quick minute.
So along with teh stomach aches, my stool over the last 3 months went from yellow, to softer, to dissolves instantly, to mild pieces of floatting stool, (still yellow) to diarea with blood, then to just barely a little diareaah and bunch of blood, I would get these sudden instances where I needed to use the bathroom but I feell like I need to poop but these just a tiny bit of diarea with blood, and this happens up to 15times a day. maybe more.
Then the really bad stomah aches came in.
One night I woke up about 10times in the night just for these sort of bowel movements!
and ofcourse my liver started acheing again.
So the doctors said last year it could be Crohn’s disease, but now there saying it may just be Ulcerative Coilitis.
My liver panel test shows mild inflammation, and the doctors said that could be from ulcerative coilitis, I tested positive for mono, but thats because we think I had it last november.
Otherwise no hepatitis or anything of the sort we did a buncha tests and stool samples. even an ultrasound.
They say everythings find,
Untill this colonoscopy which says I have 9 ulcers in my large intesting (or colon).
I have lost a great deal of weight.
I was comfortably at around 145lbs, now I am around 130 – 135 or somthing. all that was lost in muscle.
I dont have any jaundice, but I woke up this morning and again this dull pain from the place I think is my liver, another thing I alwas noticed this usually always happens when I wake up in the morning.
And drinking water would always make it a little worse.
So right now I am taking a bunch and bunch of different herbs trying to heal these ulcers because I am loosing so much work.
I do not trust western medicine so I reject my doctors meds, especially after looking up people responses to the drug and seeing how many people had horrible experiences or found no relief. I wont poision myself if Im already suffering from being riddin with toxins.
So what do you think when normal liver pain occurs does it usually continue below the rib cage or does it mainly travel up or to your back?
If you can help with my other questions,
Can Ulcerative Coilitis or crohn’s disease really effect the liver or could my ulcers be producing the pain right below my liver?
What herbs would you recommend me avoid if my liver was fragile (we already know it has minor inflammation)?
feel free to email me too. kink15@hotmail.com
I need people to talk to about this.
August 20, 2008 at 4:15 pm
I will email you a long :0) letter. I hope I wont overwhelm you.
For this post, I just want to say… good luck, and have you checked into candidia? Candidia is the body’s defense against heavy metal overload. You may ask “where would I get contaminated with heavy metals??”, but it is much easier than you think in today’s world. Actually, radon is a major problem. Here in Utah we have a Radon Awareness Month, and even the Boy Scouts have gotten into the mix to educate people about it.
Radon is created naturally in some parts of our soils, and is impossible to detect in our homes without a test.
I have a friend who just two months ago found radon was the reason for his health problems that are almost identical to what you are going through.
Yes, I think your liver is at risk. It probably is being overworked. I suggest a good body cleanse. I know one that cleanes the liver, blood and bowels.
You might also check into lactoferrin. It is a ‘replenishment’ and works wonders on candidia and digestive problems.
And my all-time standing a suggestion is water. I am a big believer in water. Pi-mag water to be exact.
Here are the links to my arguments.
Best Wishes for your recovery.

I came across this site and am hoping you can help me. I’m eighteen, a healthy weight, I eat a healthy vegetarian diet with little fat and I have had no medical problems in the past.
My problem is for the last 3 months I have been getting an intense pain in my right side, where the liver is. I get it after most things I eat, but usually more solid food rather than vegetables. I have also been getting very bloated and gained some weight. I saw my doctor about it and they did some blood tests which showed no problems.
I’m on medication to help with the bloating and this helps a little but the pain is still there and sometimes it’s unbearable.
For a short time I was bulimic and I’m worried it could have something to do with it but am hesitant to mention this to my doctor.

I have had a pain in my upper right abdomen for about 2 months, it is now becoming more severe. They removed my gall bladder in December 2007 due to gallstones inflaming the organ, that helped for a while but what feels like the same pain is back?? The doctor has said it could be my liver, I am having an ultrasound and blood tests next week to investigate. I get so tired of this nagging dull pain, it is comforting to hear of people in the same boat. I have a very stressful business, am overweight and was not eating well prior to this pain worsening, I was also drinking more than I should, I have since begun correcting this, so far pain maybe very slightly improved, hard to tell, i may just be getting more used it. I feel pain got worse though as my weight has increased and my diet declined? Any advice you have will be appreciated. I feel really worried. Anne

Having pain and discomfort under my right rib-cage for several months. No blood work, but I did have an ultrasound that shows all organs are normal except for a bit of fatty deposits on my liver. Didn’t make the connection because I was told that fat deposits don’t cause pain. The last two weeks it was bad enough to keep me from sleeping. Skipped my ashtanga yoga practice for the last week and started on a lipotropic complex. NO PAIN since starting the supplement and drinking lemon water. Going back to yoga tomorrow and I hope the pain stays away!

Thanks Yoga Mom! Glad you are feeling better.

Hi Lucinda,
I’m sorry you are having health problems. Have you found anything to help?
Bulimia is very hard on the body. It can cause liver damage. But it takes a long time before it is really a problem.
That being said… have you ever considered the effects of environmental toxins? Toxic overload is something that doctors don’t test for.
It is estimated that people consume 14 pounds of chemicals per year in the form of food additives such as artificial colorings, flavorings, emulsifiers, and preservatives. Literally millions of tons of pesticides are consumed every year through fruits and vegetables we eat. Is it any wonder that there is so much illness in our country?
We are the first generation that has been exposed to such an unprecedented number of chemicals on a daily basis.
The most common symptom associated with toxic overload is fatigue. Other symptoms include headache, muscle and joint pain, irritability, depression, mental confusion, gastrointestinal and/or cardiovascular irregularities, flu-like symptoms or allergic reactions including hives, stuffy or runny nose, sneezing and coughing.
If you are interested, check out this website. It talks about what we can do to alleviate environmental toxins. By the time blood tests show liver damage, it is almost too late. It is much better to address the problem before the liver becomes dysfunctional.

Then read this ezine article about the affects of malnutrition on the liver

And my all time favorite—The importance of water.

Hi Anne,
Sorry I am so slow in answering your comment. I have been on vacation
What did you find out at the doctors? It sounds like your liver could use a good cleansing. It is always a good idea to cleanse your body every now and again anyway, but I think it would be especially beneficial for you.
Do you like cars? Here is a good website that compares maintaining your body to the maintenance of a car. It really makes sense. http://medadvance.googlepages.com/home
But because you are a drinker, you will be interested in this:

Do it and your whole body will thank you.
And don’t forget the importance of water!! (I know, I sound like a broken record. But it is true!)

I stumbled across this thread looking for RUQ pain help. Been having a cramping pain in my side since March. It comes and goes, but does not seem to be triggered by any one thing. I had all the tests – liver enzymes OK, Ultrasound OK no gallstones, Upper Endoscopy revealed excess stomach acid but nothing else, CT scan normal, hida scan OK but had a 96% ejection fraction which seems really high to me, and normal colonoscopy. I am slightly overweight at age 33 at 6’5″ and 245 but I do not look overweight. I excercise normally and play basketball semi-competitively. I know my body and something is not right. The latest word from the doctor is that he wants to do a laproscope to “get a better look inside” and then take out the gallbladder if nothing else turns up. I should note that my dad, his only sister and their mom (my grandmother) have all had their gallbladders removed. I am a beer drinker and like a glass of wine with dinner, but do not binge drink daily. Only at a buddy’s wedding or a holiday party or whatever do I tend to overdo it on the alcohol. I’m concerned for my liver, but the doctor says that he is least worried about that. And to boot, lately I have had some of the worst Acid Reflux attacks I have ever had. Don’t know if the gallbladder and GERD have any relation or just coincidence. I’m skeptical about removing anything from my body until a)I know it’s bad or b) I’ve tried just about everything to make it better. I’m hoping someone can lead me in the right direction.
Thanks,
JB
October 15, 2008 at 2:53 am
JB,
Sorry about your troubles. It is easier when you know the problem. I agree with you though, I wouldn’t let them take anything out unless it is infected. You have a gall bladder for a reason! The gall bladder is about 10X more effective at digesting fats than the liver is! It really puts a lot of stress on the liver when the gall bladder isn’t around to do it’s work.
I need to make it clear, I am not a doctor. I am not giving any medical advise. Anything I say is my opinion only. …that being said, you can never go wrong to cleanse the liver. The liver affects over 500 functions of the body, so even if the liver is not the problem, it is part of handling the problem.
Your pain doesn’t sound like it is caused by the liver to me. Keeping the liver healthy helps the body to heal itself.
I have seen some amazing results with magnets and water. You might check out this website. It might give you some ideas.

I have had a really bad pain under my right rib cage causing me to feel very uncomfortable and full feeling for about a week now. My whole body has been aching as well. I recently went to the doctors where he did blood work and sent me for an ultra sound but what I didn’t tell him and probably wont…is that I am have a problem with bulemia. Can this cause problems for my liver?

Hello Navin,
I’m sorry about your dilemma. You may need to go back to your medical doctor and check on your fatty liver. Has it improved? However they are not 100% correct, and by the time your liver shows disease, your health is at serious risk.
Was the herbal treatment you under went, for the liver specifically? Anytime you strength your liver you help yourself. If we can get our bodies healthy, it will pretty well heal itself. The liver is a good place to start because it is involved in so many functions of the body. But the problem may not be caused from the liver. It may just be the effect of some other problem. Getting your weight down really helps most everything as well.
Do you drink alcohol? or is yours a non-alcoholic fatty liver? We have had very good success with our liver pill correcting fatty liver, but without knowing a little more about your history, I can’t really say if it would help or not.
I do have a suggestion, if you are open. I find that when the body had been under sever stress (like a fatty liver) it throws our body’s electrical system out of wack. Did you know Japan is the healthiest nation in the world? They use magnets extensively in conjunction with treatments as well as in prevention. If you are interested, check out his website for more information.
http://www.nikken.com/magnetictechnology/
Magnets help the body heal itself and along with good ph balanced water, you’ll find your herbs and nutritional work better.
But I would suggest going to the doctor again to see what they can turn up so you know if your liver is doing better, and if there is something else that may be the problem.
I am a personal wellness consultant, and would be glad to talk with you further if you would like. We can do it by email, or over the phone. It costs you nothing. But, remember I am not a doctor.
My best wishes for your health,
Cindy Judd

this site is fake, they want u to buy liver flush.
March 12, 2009 at 10:15 pm
I’m wounded to the heart. This is not a fake site. Sure I have something that I think will help with liver pain. I am not twisting anybodies arm to buy it. I am not even pitching a sales pitch. When we all share what we know and what has worked for us, it benefits everyone. Any of you may tell what you have found to help with your liver problems. How do we know what is out there if someone doesn’t tell us?
How do we know about new research? Sometimes we just need a support group where we can talk and ask questions. Everybody is different, but we are all the same. We need to be understood and not left to figure things out by ourselves.
I want to say thank you for all of you who have commented on this blog. It isn’t a huge group, but it has helped me. I hope it helps you.
March 24, 2009 at 1:37 pm
Hello! I am so glad I found this site. Somewhere where I can share my concerns with people who will understand. I’m glad it’s not outdated either. Here is my story- I grew up with little health problems and by the time I was 18 years old I had a major overdose on the drug known as MDMA, and I also unknowinly combined speed (meth) with it. My kidney’s almost failed (or they DID fail temporarily) I couldn’t pee for a few days…it just would try to come out but wouldnt. I did a lot of bad things for my liver, as well such as smoking marijuana daily for years (the marijuana is not bad for your liver itself…it is the toxins and impurities that are added to it during the growing process that harm your liver) I have also been drinking alcohol daily for about 7 years on and off. I have had symptoms which have included, PAIN and TIGHTNESS in my liver area (which I still get to this day, so my question is….Is it too late for me to get better and survive a long healthy life??) I didnt mention I have since STOPPED DRINKING completely, STOPPED smoking weed, STOPPED doing all drugs, STARTED eating mostly organic, CUT DOWN on fast food which I also ate on a daily basis…and I think that was the start of my liver problems. Then I had the drug overdose. After which I had tightness in my heart area. I went to the hospital many times. They could figure out what was wrong with me. Liver tests showed normal, but I am aware that these arent always accurate. I am certain they were not accurate in my case, and this was early on into my disease. Since then the only bad things I’ve done for my liver were alcohol, weed and fast food, and recreational drugs. I was eating a lot of organic food for the past 5 or 6 years so Im sure thats helped me survive. Also I AVOID as many toxic chemicals as I can. That includes diesel smoke coming from traffic, pesticides, and household cleaners. These affect me the most. I used to not even be able to handle smelling perfume. I think I have gotten a little better over the years after cutting these toxins out. I now, can handle purfumes, and I feel a lot better after stoppping the marijuana (which sadly is a medical herb, if we could just grow it ourselves) but getting it on the streets is not good for you. In 2002 my symptoms were the worst. I almost died. I vomitted all night long, and also had major diarreha at the same time. This caused me to not only dehydrate, but I also was choking on my puke. I couldnt breath. I was seeing colors and almost passed out. If I had passed out I dont think I would of ever woke up. I forced myself to stay awake because even though I was in complete agony (worst experience of my entire life) I knew if I could get ahold of some marijuana, it would stop my nausea (and thats one reason I smoked it all those years, because I was worried if I stopped, I would die from choking on my puke again) So, I got ahold of some, by a miracle and that did save my life. I refused to goto the hospital at that time if you are wondering…and that is because they wouldnt of done anything to help me When you are puking you cannot hold down any type of pill, anyways. I literally puked up 3 small garbage cans worth of puke that night. I did drink a lot of water though to keep myself alive. I could barely get any air in due to me choking on the vomit. Over the years, my symptoms were mostly chronic diareah, but I also had (and still have mildly) LIVER BREATH which makes your breath smell very bad, no matter how often you brush your teeth, etc. So, this destroyed my social life too. Just recently I have STOPPED all the drugs (now I just need to get off the cigarettes) and I feel better. I used milk thistle several times over the years, as well as other natural liver supplements. I also caugh up this black stuff, like black dots which comes from my liver area. My question and concern is, do you think it’s too late for me to survive a long and normal life? Considering I stay off all the drugs and alcohol and keep avoiding toxins, couldnt I survive for another 40 years? I am 29 right now so I’m still young. All these problems started when I was 18 after the overdose. Also I have a dried up and swollen ankle. Its been like that for 10 years. I was told this is becasue of excessive fluid build up in the body…however it’s not NEARLY as swollen as some of the pictures Ive seen online, so maybe I have it mild…but the skin has been dead for 10 years. Now that I have quit all the drugs, the skin is slowly coming back to life! Maybe this is a sign I am getting better…and if I havent died yet…I think I CAN survive, because I hear when you stop what causes the liver disease, it will not progress any further. This means I might have some permanent symptoms, but not any to be deadly I hope. I dont have a problem with infections, really, so the things that are life threatening, I think my body knows how to deal with those. Well, let me know your opiions on how much longer you think I will live. I would like honest answers, as I know nobody is guaranteed a tomorrow. What worried me is when I read that once you have liver pains, it is too late. I have had liver pains for over a year now at least, but I dont get them all the time. Maybe once every other day or so. And I also get the same pains in other parts of my body as well. Right now as I type this I feel a tightness in my liver area, but remmeber I have only been off the alcohol for about a week now. I plan to never start again unless it’s a glass of wine. THANKS A MILLION FOR YOUR HELP.
March 24, 2009 at 1:47 pm
PS- I forgot to mention that I DO NOT have jaundice…so that’s a good sign…I dont think Ive ever had Jaundice…
years ago when I went to the hospital alot, I had no idea it was my liver…i thought i had heart problems since i had the tightness in my heart area, but the doctor said i had a strong, healthy heart. (dont know how …after all the drugs i did..god must have seen this in advance and gave me a very good heart!) Also the only thing I was actually diagnosed with was anxiety, which I think was incorrect. Anyways, I did get one infection while I was off the marijuanaa (I quit several times over the years) and that was strep throat. I took conventional drugs for it, which I think damaged my body even further..
March 24, 2009 at 1:51 pm
oh yeah…I also got an abcess tooth which was very painful. These infections ONLY came when I quit smoking marijuana. So, the marijuana, even being bad for your liver, probably protected me from infections through all those years. Now that I am off of it again, I hope I dont get another serious infection….And one other note- I also got pnumonia once…and I survived that…without going to the hospital but I smoked marijuana at that time…I barely survived that. These infections all came many years ago(2000-2004) however the absess tooth was just last year…
March 26, 2009 at 3:25 am

I’ve been having pain around my liver and don’t know what it is. The pain since to be more when I cough or take a dip breath. I’m diabetic and take 3 different pill to control it, what can be causing my pain….I have not been able to get a doctors appointment and would like to know what I can do in the meantime. I use to drink when I was young, but it was 1 or 2 drinks and only when I went out with my friend…never really like the of drinking, I never smoke.
June 3, 2009 at 1:53 pm
Cleansing the liver never hurts. But, I think you need to see the doctor for your discomfort. No matter what is wrong, the liver is usually involved directly or indirectly, since that is it’s function…to keep things running.
Here is a pretty good overview of things: http://medadvance.googlepages.com/home
Good luck finding your answers. You are wise to seek out answers.

June 3, 2009 at 1:48 pm
Hi Tina,
I am not a medical doctor. I think you should talk to one. But, if you do have an adenoma on your liver, I wouldn’t think it would burst. Adenomas are a tumor, not a cyst. It is my understanding that many people live with harmless tumors on their livers, but they may cause pressure. Fatty tumors are not exactly like a fatty liver, but then who wants tumors?? They are a worry since no one wants a malignant one (cancer), but not all tumors develop into cancer. It is something to watch.
It is always a good idea to take care of your liver. It is directly related to over 500 functions in the body, so even if the liver itself is not diseased, if it is overworked from other faulty functions in other parts of the body, it takes the blunt of trying to keep things going overall. It is always a good idea to do some preventive maintenance. I suggest you try this liver cleanse:
http://crj84634.googlepages.com/liverpill
It is completely natural and a whole food, and one bottle is enough. Check with your doctor about using it while nursing, but I wouldn’t be too afraid of it, maybe just take a half the prescribed dose.
And as always, I highly recommend you take a look at your water. Water is sooooo important to your overall health. It may be enough to just change the water you drink. http://medadvance.googlepages.com/pi-magwater
All my best.

Gosh Richard, This is a tough one. Could this be parasites? I can’t imagine the probiotics are the cause of the problem. Candida is a very hard thing to work out. I have struggled with it too.
If it were me, I’d buy the Pi-mag water. Water will cleanse the body if it is clean.
I know I keep harping on water, but it is because I have really become convinced it is the single most important factor in our health. Pi-mag water is different. It has different qualities.
In a study I found on AIDS, it showed that by treating AIDS with pi-water only, Killer-T cells (the immune cells) improved 33%. Don’t be surprised if you go through a healing crisis. If it were me, I would start slow in drinking more water.
The other thing I would do is try taking a product called ‘Cleanse’. It cleanses for parasites, cleanses the liver, blood and colon. It is very gentle and is not a flush.
For the price of a big screen TV, I would change my home into a ‘wellness’ home–with clean ionized air, pi-mag water, bio-replenishments, and biomagnetics. It is easier than it sounds.
I am confident that miracles can occur.

Doctors did not seem to be able to find what was wrong they allways told me that my liver enzims was off. I have not seen a doctor in a long time… And have been drinking heavy… seems like I am getting more sick.. So I desided to stop drinking..
but Now I wonder if it is to late…

Hi David,
Sorry to hear about your liver. It would be a good time to look into Liver Support. The tests show impressive improvement in liver enzymes in alcoholics who had been hospitalized because of their condition.
Check out this web site: http://medicaladvancements.googlepages.com/liverkidneycleanse
I think there is a good chance it will help you too. There’s a money back guarantee, so you wouldn’t be out anything to try it.
All my best,

I am in my early 40s male. Generally in good health.
I have been getting dull pain in the liver area after once taking herbal pills for enhancing libibo. I might have overdosed, but not by much. I never took the pills again after that one time 8 months ago but the dull pain is still there. The pain tends to come after meals, about 30 min later.
I also have more frequent bowel movements, after a meal I have to go. The stool color is sometimes clay-like, but not always. My fingernails started to lift at the tip with pain. I suspected gall bile problems, so I started taking multivitamins and yogurt. The fingernail problems seemed to be lessened since then.
I had couple blood tests to check liver function and also sonogram to check gall stones, but all negative, so there is nothing a doctor could recommend for the pain in the liver…

Ive been having pains in my liver and I saw my doctor and she sent me for an ultrasound. I have found out that I have a fatty liver. I expereience pain in my right side under the ribs, it does hurt at times. I notice it when I drink coffee too. I have put on at least 15kg and Im finding it difficult to lose weight as well.
September 29, 2009 at 8:02 pm
Hi Ann,
If your liver shows fat, you really need to do something about it. The liver plays a huge role in almost every other function in the body, so if it go, so does almost everything else. You can help it with simple supplements and good water. I highly recommend pi-mag water. It is by far the best I’ve seen.

What can I do?
I’ve just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I had a stabilisation op, at L4, L5, in Feb 2005. I have taken many anti inflammatory, painkillers, antidepressants over the years. And now trying antispasmodics, for the pain I get in the rib area on the right side of my back, to just below the shoulder, sometimes it feels like the pain is also in my side, slightly coming around to my front.
My doctor believes it is gallbladder problems. He has just given me Buscopan, “hyoscine –N- butylbromide”, 20mg, to take 4 times a day. After just taking them, about 45 mins to an hour ago, the pain has slightly increased and I’m flushed across my cheeks and to my ears. I have had an ANA test for Lupus that has come back negative.
I’m tired most of the time; I awake feeling ill, flu like symptoms sometimes with nausea, sometimes not. My diet is good, I eat very little fat or oil, chicken and fish only, lots of veg, little highly processed foods stuff, rice instead of bread and no pasta or potatoes.
I exercise every morning my major muscle groups, and I walk for 20 to 30 min a day.
Sometimes I’m unable to complete the walking because I feel ill. If I try to do a little longer walking, or a little more exercising, I get this awful feeling of being ill.
The doctor has requested a scan, I’m not going to take anymore antispasmodics.
I currently take 50mgs of Amitriptyline, and up to 4,000 milligrams of co-codamol, a day. Which sometimes help the pain, that I have descried above.
Can anyone help me
Kind regards
Deborah
October 14, 2009 at 9:32 pm
Gosh Deborah, I’m sorry. Fribromyalgia is such a temperamental thing. The pain in your back probably isn’t a liver problem per say, but, your liver’s health probably is involved because liver function is connected to over 500 functions of the body. You are never wrong to help out your liver. They are one of the most overworked organs in the body.
My advice is to look into magnetics and good water. You know Japan is the healthiest nation in the world, don’t you? They don’t have fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue. When the Japanese show symptoms of these diseases, they treat them with magnetics. Instead of fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue, they term it “magnetic deficiency syndrom” or MDS. They have very good success with magnetics.
Also, the Japanese are very big into “pi-water”. Pi-water is nothing more than purified water treated with magnetics and minerals. I highly recommend you look into it.
October 28, 2009 at 10:35 pm
Hi Deborah,
Fibromyalgia is no fun. Have you tried magnetic therapy? It has helped many people I know with fibromyalgia. Not cured, but helped. Also, a good gentle cleanse helps if you have not done one recently, especially if you are taking medications. It is hard to get pharmaceuticals out of the body. Residue can remain for a long long time and cause havic with other treatments. A good cleanse is always a good thing to do when changing treatment plans.
Here is a site with some wonderful articles on magnetic therapy. http://www.therionresearch.com/learning-center-articles.html
I highly recommend you do some research here. Magnetic therapy doesn’t have to be expensive. I deal in it a lot. I am convinced of the necessity of understanding the effects electro-magnetic waves have on us (things like TV, computers, cell phones, microwaves, radio waves, electricity) vs. bio-magnetic waves (the gentle magnetism of the earth and all living things).
Eastern medicine has used magnetic to treat the sick for hundreds of years. They don’t have troubles like fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome. When they do have people with those symptoms they treat it with magnetic. They call it MDS, magnetic deficiency syndrome.
Personally, I like a company called Nikken. They hold the patent on EQL magnets. They also have a whole body cleanse for under $20.00. They are a Total Wellness company.
I hope this helps.

We have had a lot of problems with ISB, and I really think that a healthy liver helps regardless of the cause…mean, which is it? an unhealthy liver that causes IBS or IBS causing an unhealthy bowel function?
Whatever the problem in the body, it is good reasoning that the Liver needs help, because it is the organ that had to deal with the problem!!
Thanks for your comment

Hello,
I was just wondering, if you still offered that supplement for your liver? And if so, what was in it again?
Thanks

hi cindy judd, i hav read all the comments here. I did received frm my blood test report show that i had a liver problem. at 1st at all, i thought it was small matter and i can do somethin exercise and watch my diet then it could be reduce. but these nowdays, i feel pain rib cage on my side stomach when i move. it everyday i was in pain within 3 to 5 minute which a day 5 to 6 times happen again. should i take it seriously seek to the hospital immediately?
May 1, 2010 at 10:18 pm
Hi Angel, I’m sorry about your liver troubles. Liver pain is nothing to ignore, but it probably isn’t life-threatening. Many people live will liver pain for a long long time before it requires hospitalization. BUT, don’t ignore it .
YES you should check with your doctor, especially because liver tests show stress. It could be gall bladder problems. Are you watching the fats in your diet? And don’t underestimate the part clean water makes in liver health. The liver pill is really something you should look at.
Hope you find all is well.

Hi, I feel ill when I exercise. Usually it occurs after I have been training for 3 – 4 weeks. The symptoms are flu like, lasting a day or 2. When the symptoms would subside I would start to train again and the flu would return. I also get pain in my liver area. I went to the doctor and received blood test and they came back good except for my liver function test are borderline. I had a hepatitis test and that was negative. I am scheduled for a scan on my liver tomorrow.
Couple of questions:
1) Should I stop training just now?
2) What could be causing this? (My diet is good when I’m training and I do not drink too much (bottle of wine a week))
May 6, 2010 at 1:53 pm
Hi Mark,
Believe it or not, I do the same thing. My doctor says it is not from the exercise, but I don’t believe it. When I continue I get sicker.
Now, it could be because of a ‘healing crisis’. When you are full of toxins, and you begin to get them moving out of tissues and organs, it can make you feel sick. Depending on how long you have been in the toxic saturation level, is the length of time it takes to work out of the healing crisis. The liver is the detox organ of the body, so it stands to reason that the more toxins released into the blood to be broken down by the liver would stress it. Also keep in mind that most of the time, by the time your liver tests show stress, there is damage. It is much harder to repair than it is to avoid liver problems.
If you are feeling pressure or pain around the liver area, I personally think taking some kind of liver cleanse is a good idea. Remember, I am not a doctor, and only your doctor can recommend treatment. Anything I say here is simply friend to friend. No matter what the problem is, helping the liver to function better will help. The liver is directly related to over 500 functions in the body. And never underestimate the importance of good clean water. You can’t flush toxins out with toxic water. And remember, you need trace minerals. Some people use distilled or RO water and think they are doing their body a favor, and in the short term you may because these types of water are void of everything. The body needs to maintain a certain level of ph (trace mineral levels) to servive. Water can be the major supplier of them. Or if water does not contain trace minerals, water is the solvant for the supplelments you take. If you do not supply the body with trace minerals, the body (through absorbson through water transported through the blood) will pull them from the bones.
So, my suggestion is to go slow with your exercise. Do more stretching, slow, low impact exercises for short periods a few times a day. Build into exercise slowly. You do need it. You need to get the lymph system moving, but if you do it too fast, you will get sick. Listen to your body and stay in touch with your doctor. Remember that doctors are there for crisis intervention. They know what to do when the liver is failing, but they don’t work too much on the prevention side.
Look at these webs sites for the water and a liver cleanse that works:

Hi everyone, I am another stumbler, guided however. My past nightmare started 2 years ago with an ambulance ride and a near death experience. I was yellow and near death. I thought I had a flu. My family refused Hospice. I was sent to a teaching hospital and then a nursing home. If I had followed all of the western medicine, I do believe I would not be here. I couldn’t be more convinced about the truths that are Holistic Healing. I am just a novice here, but, because of the few practioners that have touched my life so far, no one even knows I was ill! I feel like I’m not on that road in the dark all alone anymore. Bless you Cindy and Godspeed !Love this Site !! Facebook ???

Finally after years of pain I am doing better. The pain pills never helped with the pain. All my test came back that nothing was wrong and my chiropractor told me it could be that I pulled something. I finally went and saw a a chiropractor that practiced in Kinesiology. She told me my liver wasn’t tolerating wheat or dairy. I thought she was crazy. But I tried it and in just a couple of days my pain was gone. Every now and then I eat wheat products and dairy. I am ok, but if I eat too much (everyday) I get that pain back and it reminds me that the food I love is not worth all that pain and discomfort! Also the stress from my job is gone and I am able to tolerate a little more of the food I love. So to make it short food and stress were causing my pain that the doctors couldn’t figure out for years.

Oh Chelsea, I am so sorry!!!!
Bless your heart. Do you have support from home about your health concerns? I so hope someone is helping you. It is so hard to not be able to get the help you need. The liver pill I like is not the answer. I do think the water would help you A LOT. I am a good listener… given you age. That is all I can do.
I so hope you can find help.

I have this odd ache in my side that seems to kinda come and go. It’s not painful, just annoying. I can’t tell if it’s liver related or not. (I know, go to a doctor… Working on that, it’s 11pm at night and there’s no one to call right now.)
I also seem to be more tired than usual and my skin is kinda dried out. Not sure if that’s just weather related though. I don’t seem to have any other symptoms, I still have an appetite and such.
I do notice that some of my body odors are a bit strange lately, too. It sometimes seems like dish washing soap, which makes me wonder if the dishwasher isn’t properly cleaning the dishes and I’m ingesting soap….? o.o That would be pretty bad, but I really can’t tell. >.<
I'm just kinda hoping I'll be ok…
August 23, 2010 at 1:48 pm
Skie,
sorry to hear about your problems. If it were me, I would look into some kind of a liver cleanse. Checking out the dish washer is a good idea too. But… if it were me, I would also look into a liver cleanse. Here is the one I use: Liver Support
It is $29.00 a bottle, but well worth it. (You are acturally saving 15% from this site) If your liver isn’t damaged and just needs a good cleansing. One month is enough. …our whole bodies just function better if the liver is working. If you want to read more about the functions of the liver in relations to the body you might read this article: When Fatty Liver Is Left Untreated.
Another thing I am really big on is filtered water. The water we drink can also help the liver function better. You might look into this Pi-Mag Filtered Water. It is my favorite.
August 23, 2010 at 2:05 pm
I don’t really have $29 to spend. 😦 I’m trying to stick to just drinking alot of water. The aches and stuff seem to have gone away for the most part. My sleeping problems are most likely from the heat, too.
I figure if I somehow get sicker before I can see a doctor, I’ll head to the hospital… (I’m on Medi-cal, so I’m in the process of getting a PCP and that takes so damn long I swear.)
August 23, 2010 at 8:17 pm
Skie, I totally understand. You can go broke on pills. Water can do amazing things. Just make sure the water you drink is flushing toxins out, not replacing toxins for toxins. It’s quite a world we live in anymore. I agree, that if you get sicker, head to the hospital!
August 24, 2010 at 8:53 am
I decided to drink some wine that was in the fridge to see if I felt any pain things, I don’t feel anything. So maybe it’s just all in my head. o.o (It would ache with any amount of alcohol, wouldn’t it?) Hopefully when I get my new doctor he’ll be cool with taking some lab things for me so I can see how the liver’s doing…
August 23, 2010 at 7:23 pm
Quote from Chelsea “sometimes i feel smarter than the drs which is very scary”
Don’t feel scared. I know you’re only 13…but..You ARE smarter than the doctors. And rightfully so. They have never trained in real medicine before. The entire medical industry is a scam. A deadly scam too. Just to get our money (and possibly population control) they are purposely killing us with poisons. Drugs are pure poison. All doctors do for us is prescribe us a drug (poison) OR cut off a part of our body. Now, I surely don’t need either of those things done to me. I feel fine with the body parts god gave me…and if I am not ingesting POISONS, I have no reason to worry about getting cancer or any other diseases. DOCTORS WERE TRAINED TO MAKE US SICK and their number 1 goal is to prescibe you a drug (which will cause a new disease) Only a lot of the doctors don’t even know what kind of evil they are doing! Some actually are so brainwashed from what they were trained in that they think they are doing a good deed and helping us out!! So, it'[s not that I think all doctors are bad and greedy people. It’s not that at all. This is the work of a higher power. But the truth is…Doctors are so ignorant..and that amazes me. There is no excuse to be ignorant in this day and age. We have access to all of the information we need. I never believe what ANYONE Tells me anymore. Only if I know in my heart that it’s true. I stopped going to the hospital over 10 years ago and I have gotten much healthier over the years. If I had continued to go to the hospital, I would of died years and years ago! I 100% guarantee everyone that. We’re all smarter than doctors. That’s just the sad truth. Doctors die at an average age of almost 20 years younger than normal people do! Doctors have purposely been trained in poisons. Basically all drugs cause disease. So, their idea was to give us something that would keep us coming back. The perfect thing for that..is dope. Dope will definitely make someone come back…as they design each drug to address the symptoms of a particular problem, but then 3 months down the line, you develop a new disease..and they give you another drug for that…and so on. It never ends. That is why normal people will be going to the hosiptal their entire lives…while people like me who know the truth…will never go. The hard reality is…the hospital MURDERS people. Tons of people. To me, knowing this…it would be suicide for me to go to a hospital. Suicide is the biggest spiritual sin I think. So, that would be an insult to god if you went to the hospital for sure. So, anyone who is reading this…if you do not believe what I am saying…I am sorry for you. You must look within yourself and find the truth. Don’t take a risk and let the hospital kill you. I have studied online for cures to certain diseases, and found nothing about anything natural that would help. They said…you MUST go to the hospital and do surgery, etc. Well that’s funny because I haven’t went and I’m still alive. Don’t believe any of it. The internet is full of so much BS too. It’s all mostly just people’s opinions…but if you look hard enough you can find proof as to what I am telling you are facts.
August 23, 2010 at 8:15 pm
I’m not sure I agree with everything that is said here, but I do believe in letting everyone have their say. Above all, I want you to know there are people out there who want you to get better.
Good Luck Chelsea.

Hi, I just happened to come across this article and I read a little; are the listed ailments indications of liver problems?
December 1, 2010 at 2:45 pm
Hi Laura,
Thanks for stopping by. Yes, the liver is connected to all of these symptoms. The liver may not be the root cause of them, but if the liver is overworked/stressed because of other health conditions, these problems appear. If you have health conditions that cause any of these symptoms and the liver is healthy and working strong, the liver can keep these things from manifesting. It is just good sense to help the liver out as much as yo u can in today’s polluted world.

when i take my medication i feel pain on my right side.Ive informed my family doctor as well as my pulmenary doctor.they do not believe my meds are causing my pain. And to continue taking my meds! The pain is getting
worse.
December 27, 2010 at 3:43 pm
Could it be your gall bladder?
These health problems are a great concern. When you know you feel something, and the doctors say you don’t it is disheartening.
I would never stop taking your med, but I would check with your doctor to see if sarsaparilla and artichoke would react with it. Sarsaparilla and artichoke are natural food, so it shouldn’t interfere with anything. Cleansing the liver should only help the meds work more efficiently.
I can not give any medical advice. I can only tell you what I would do if it were me. Here is a link to a

July 13, 2011 at 9:56 pm
Hi Patricia,
If I were you, I would look into a colon cleanse and do a liver cleanse as well. Have you been to a doctor? A diagnosis is always the place to start. You need to rule out serious diseases and conditions. Be sure to ask for a liver evaluation. The liver certainly can cause all the systems you are describing. Our poor livers are overworked and we need to take care of them. Prevention is always the best medicine.
You will find some common sense tips for taking care of your liver here: Common Sense Suggestions For The Liver
July 30, 2011 at 9:34 am
Hi cindy,
Where do I begin with this terrible situation… it all started a year and ahalf ago when my four year child had gotten sick with jaundice the doctor ran the liver panel test and her sgot and spot were up in the thousands they also ran the other basic tests and they were coming back neg. It took about three months in order for liver panel to return to normal. I ‘ve had so many opinions from diffrent doctors and they were all the same. Which were that she is fine and that whatever she had went away, but a few months down the road my son and I started to experince the same discomfort on the upper right side and joint pain and a sharp pain in our right arm and as for my little girl she still has the pain too but yet test show that her, our livers are fine but it doesn’t feel fine. I get so scared sometimes for my children because I just want them to help them to feel better and the only medicine I have for them is some good ice cold water. I do believe that drinking enough water and staying away from high in sugar and high in sodium drinks and foods helps us not feel the discomfort as much. Prayer does help me too but you are right that it is up to us to make sure we take care of our bodies. I just want all this to go away their so innocent they deserve a pain free life. Although I know we don’t live in a perfect world. All I can do is try to live with our lives feeling this way. I want them to have alot of good memories and I do my best to make them. If you have any advice Id really be greatful.
July 30, 2011 at 7:36 pm
Hi Anna,
So sorry about your health problems. I really relate to wanting to help your children. I have gone through similar frustration. Yes I do have a couple of suggestions.
You are on the right track with drinking lots of water. Ice cold is not the best however. Room temperature water is easier on your liver. Prayer works wonders. You know, with my daughter, we never really found what the problem was until years later, but looking back, even though she went through a lot of health related issues, I can see it could have been much much worse. Sometimes the things we go through makes us stronger… and increases our faith in a higher being that is involved with us individually. That is the way it has worked out for us.
And I agree, taking care of our bodies is our responsibility. We need to figure it out and do what we can and not expect we can pray our problems away.
That being said. I have seen wonderful results with the Liver Support supplement. It is artichoke buds and sarsaparilla. Just food. Regardless of what is the root of your liver pain, our livers are overworked. You will do yourself a favor to love your liver and give it a little helping hand once or twice a year. You can buy it here: Liver Pain?
But, what you probably really need is Zeolite. I would start with a powder and then use NCD Liquid Zeolite. You can learn about it here:
Two zeolite videos and here:
Heavy Metals Poisoning
Zeolite is safe for babies and adults. If I were you, I would take it.
Best Wishes,
Cindy

Hi i have been having a dull pain under my right rib cage for about 3-4 weeks. Went to general practionner and he said it might be spine related. So I went to the chiropractor and he said he thought it was an enlarged liver which got me very upset because all that I hear and read about liver problems has the word “terminal” in it. I do believe in prayer and that my God heals. I go back to the chiropractor today and have a followup call with my GP today as well to discuss blood work/Ct scan etc to check the internal organs. I guess I am writing just to get this out because I’ve been fearful. I have 2 children who i school from home and who need their mother. I don’t want to be a sickly or even absent mom. I’ll write again after having the tests. I dont believe in using much meds unless absolutely necessary. Thanks for listening and if you think of me prayer for total healing.

Hi Laura,
I’m sorry to hear about your health problems. It is important you get a proper diagnosis. But don’t be too alarmed, things may not be a bad as they seem. I have seen many many people helped with supplements and magnets. A swollen liver doesn’t have to mean “terminal”.
No matter what the problem turns out to be, it is a smart thing to cleanse theliver. Our poor ole livers really take a beating in today’s polluted world. Please let us know what you find out. In the mean time, I will be praying for you. And I will put your name on our prayer roll at church. I too belive in the power of prayer.
God Bless.

Hi Cindy
I have been told tell that I have an enlarge liver, pancreas and spleen.
How can I reverse this problem without taking strong medications that will cause side effects?
November 2, 2011 at 5:28 pm
Hi Megan, I am sorry for you. I am not qualified to advise you. If it were me, I would drink the Nikken pi-mag water and talke the Liver Support, Greenzymens (a barley grass supplement) and do a colon cleanse and follow the direction of the doctor. Nikken’s Liver Support has been cliniclly shown to improve an alocholic liver nearly always, but not every liver condition. You need to know why your liver, pancreas and spleen is enlarged.
Barley Grass has been shown to do amazing things when taken in large enough amounts. You need some expert advice. Go get it. There are many natural health professionals around.
Good luck. My prayers are with you.

Thanks to all for writing. My right side had tinges that later have become sharp stabbing pains. Previously, I was put on prednisone steroid to treat post radiation swelling on a brain tumor. I ended up with Cushing’s syndrome, hugely overweight, extreme diabetes and messed up blood work. After being stabilized, my body developed a lot of pain on my hands, arms, legs and feet in addition to other muscles. As a result, I was placed on hydrocortisone and Lyrica to treat the painful muscles and joints. As I was tapering off the drugs, I felt the tinges on my right side develop into lots of painful sharp pains. They are stronger after eating and sometimes for no apparent reason. I limited alcohol to 2-3 drinks a month at the most. So now I have gone through a series of tests including a liver biopsy. The test is done by inserting a needle through neck artery and inserting a catheder down to the liver. They even take pressure readings and other data during the biopsy test. I have not gotten results yet, but we suspect the increase in weight and fat and steroid induced diabetes all played a role in causing me an inflammed and fatty liver. I hope it’s not worse. I pray that everyone who is suffering from pain surrounding the liver area will be healed, in Jesus name, Amen.

I know I sound like a saleman, but I really do think it is vital that you get the Nikken water unit. The $379.00 one will last a life time with filters only $50.00 a year. How much are you spending on water already? There really is healing in clean water. Please go to my website and use this code: TSE-15 and get 15% off.

Alright, I have been on meds for a long time now and I have pain on my right side in the liver area, I have been taking t-3’s and I am weaning my self down, I am now on t-2′, because I have become addicted to the codeine, which I never even realized, until I talked to a cousin of mine. So now i do have this terrible pain on my right side and it is in the liver region, who ever says that the liver feels no pain because it is an organ ,has never had this pain so they don’t know what they are talking about, I am in the process of detoxifying my liver and there has been a significant amount of pain reduction, just by doing the glass of warm water with lemon juice, and now I am drinking fruit juices and have limited my intake of food, I am just doing mostly vegetables and some beans for the fibre, but a lot of juices and water, it seems to e working for me, I have also had hair loss which I have been told is from the liver.so in response to what is liver pain, yes it really does exist and there are ways of dealing with it, but most people I know will not say why they think they have pain there,be it due to alcohol or drug use either legal or illegal, mine was from t-3 use and I truly did not realize that I was addicted to it, now my body has to pay for my misuse and i have to help to repair it, as it is my body and the only one I will ever have.

Hi,
Like the dozens before me who have left comments here, I also suffer from a very sensitive liver that borders on being downright painful on occassion. I am 41 years old and between my early twenties and mid to late thirties I was a very heavy drinker. Although I still drink alcohol it is in significantly smaller amounts these days. I go for between 7 to 10 days between drinking any alcohol at all and when I do I average 6 small (330ml) bottles of beer and up to 200ml of vodka. On average I drink on 3.5 occassions in any given month.. My tolerance to alcohol has reduced both as I have gotten older and also I believe because I am drinking so much less. I am worried though that even after one occassion of drinking, my liver can hurt for up to 3 days. From time to time it will start aching even if I haven’t consumed any alcohol for over a week. I realise I probably don’t drink enough water and I also don’t take my liver cleanse pills regularly but do you have an opinion?
April 3, 2012 at 5:51 pm
Hi Pete,
Thanks for stopping by. What I found works for me, besides drinking more CLEAN water, I would take Nikken’s Liver Support. It has shown to be amazing for alcoholic liver problems.
Liver Support supports repairs necessary to address liver stress caused by drinking too much, or damage caused by drinking for many years.

Hello
For the past 4 years i have had a doll sore pain right at the area of my liver. There is soreness when the ribs rub the area turning to the right and also when tuning to the left the pain comes and goes but when it starts it stays for a while. I have had a sonogram to the area they found no explanation to it. I am since a day ago in a detoxifying diet to clean the irritation at the liver. but the prolong sitting makes my ribs dig in the liver and the irritating sore and doll pain gets even worst. I will rate the pain between 8-9/10.
I hope this information is useful.
Thanking you
Carmen

Carmen,
If it were me, I would look into ‘pi-mag water’ from Nikken. If you really are looking for help, you can email me and I will give you the name of someone who can help.
Have you heard of Zeolite? It is very good to pull heavy metals out. Heavy metals can really cause havic with your liver.
Also, I know something else that might help. I worry about the pain level being so high. Stick close to your doctor and let him moniter you, it could be serious. Be sure it is not cancer.
Let me know if you would like to talk to a wellness consultant.
All my best to your liver.

Hi, this is my first post on any website, always too nervous for any feedback! I too have been having all this pain in my liver area for a year now! I was told i had fatty liver ! I was over weight and I do have a history of heavy drinking for about 4-5 yrs. Anyhow, ive lost 60 pnds and have been sober for a year n two months now! I thought that after losing all this weight my pain would go away but still remains! My pain comes and goes and ranges from my right side chest area, around my ribs to my back. I do not have any other symptoms except for some accasional stomache pain, gas, and feeling weak and fatigue wich only last a couple days! Right now im waiting for gallbladder results and I have another altrasound coming up but am so scared to kno if my liver has gotten worse… Of course I only want to hear good news! Ive done everything I was told might help like change in eating, low fat diet, no greasy food except maybe a cheeseburger once in a while. I lost alot of weight and do alot more walking than before, I hardly exercise from lack of motivation but u think the walking helps! Ive also been taking milk thistle 1000mg twice a day and multivitamins everyday. I love drinking lemon water even straight lemon shots, I think sometimes it relieves some pain temporary. I dont know what else to do, I have 5 childrens and trying to do my best in taking care of my liver! I just want this pain to go away and hope it hasnt gotten any worse wich my doctor doesnt think so since all my blood work shows up perfect and ive had so much work done! But I heard that rhe liver can be a tricky organ! Any advise besides the liver support and what you think about everything ive told you? I also drink water thoughout the day. Im only 30 yrs old and would like to make it for another 30yrs or more, my children need me!!! Any advise please!!! Thankyou!
June 24, 2012 at 1:43 pm
Hi Sylvia,
I am so sorry to hear about your trial. You are right the liver is a tricky organ. And it is so important to most all the functions of the body. Keep the liver healthy and you are healthy. If the liver is stressed, you are stressed. I like to drink lemon water too, and milk thistle is very helpful for the liver. I understand about your apprehension about the internet. I assure you, I appreciate your leap of faith. I would like to help. I can only tell you what I have done, and what I would do if I were you. I am sending your name to Carolyn Call, my personal wellness consultant. She is very good and can help council you over the telephone or email, and best of all she doesn’t charge. Please talk to her. I promise she is honest and will help guide you in your journey to wellness. She has made a huge difference in helping me take charge of my own health and has even helped encourage my children to use prevention in their own health. Please watch for her email. You may have to watch your spam box.
Her email will come from: carolyn@calsite.org
with Liver Health Question in the Subject line.

Hi
I had my gallbladder remove in March last year because of painfull galstones, since the beginning of this year I had sharp pain in my liver area,I went for a scan they couldnt find anything,up untill 2day I have this sharp sometimes dull pain in my liver area almost everyday now.I’m 28 years old and very consern about this pain.
June 27, 2012 at 4:25 pm
Hi astrilita! Sorry about your problem you been having, I know it can be very worrysome and can add a huge amount of stress in your life, as well as mine! I have been having that same pain for over a year now but no answers yet! I had a scan of my gallbladder and an altrasound of my liver and whole abdomen which all looked fine and normal said the technician. I was so relieved to know that I had reversed the fatty liver that I was diagnosed with a year ago, because the way I was feeling the pain, I was so sure in my mind that my liver was causing me this pain! So, recently I just had an endoscopy done and what was found was gastritis ( inflammation of the stomache lining) so they took a biopsy of it to determine the cause of it so they can treat me, so maybe this is what is causing me this pain even tho my GI doesn’t think so but you know everybody is different and can experience different symptoms, so I’m just waiting for my doc to treat me to see if my pain goes away and if not my doctor is thinking what shall we do next, maybe a scan of my chest? I too can’t wait to find out what the problem is already but just have to keep digging answers!!! Hopefully this has helped a little and for others out there as well!! Good luck!!!

Hello. I think it would be best to communicate with you in a private email. I can’t recommend treatment, but I can tell you what has worked for others. This kind of pain can be hard to diagnose, but when you take an overall approach, most times you can clear it up to a good extent. If it is alright, I will forward your comment to two specialists… one that specializes in heavy metals toxicity and one in overall personal wellness. Please look for their emails because they might come to your spam folder.
The specialist of heavy metal detox is: Marc Gitomer marcgitomer@hotmail.com
The Wellness Consultant is: Carolyn Call carolyn@callsite.org
They will have “Liver Health” in the Subject line.
All my best. I think you will find answers by communicating with them. They do not charge for their consulting services.

Dear Cindy,
To give you my feedback about Liver pain… well I had terrible liver pain because of a bacterial infection and when i went to the hospital unable to breath because of stabbing pains under my right rib, they thought i had a thrombosis. I am 28 , relatively healthy female. At any rate i had to do a crazy scan and was in terrible pain and they couldnt figure anything out. They sent me home with the advice to take pain pills.
A few days later i was informed by my main doctor that i had this infection, i took antibiotics and in a few days all my liver pain was away. It was a terrible stabbing pain though when i had it and I read that that is a telltale sign there is an infection and the liver is suffering.
I am fine since then but i have found that my liver is really hurting now, as I am psychologically trying to face alot of elements of my life, such as the blocks to life and love that I have. They are very poisonous elements in the mental sphere and as a very sensitive and spiritual interested being, i can see how the pain is showing itself in my liver. Right now i rub some Dandelion tincture over the liver and this helps to relieve the pain. Its not constant the pain, and now happens mostly when i smoke. So i can see how this is related too…
I believe the body is very symbolic and if you look at anthroposophical theory about the organs, each of them hold great planetary energy and are very connection with socio emotional mental spheres.. very interesting stuff.
I am interested in your story too!
Blessings and thanks

Hello Laila,
My internet is working much better now. I am sorry about your liver pain. If you would like to talk to a wellness consultant, Carolyn Call is who I recommend. She is and Independant Wellness Consultant that does not charge for her consultations. You can contact her at: carolyn@callsite.org
Taking an overall approach to health is probably the best way for you, in my opinion. The body does respond to the emotional and the emotional does respond to the physical. In good health it takes a balance of healthy relationships, healthy environment, healthy mind, and like it or not, healthy finances. One more important element in achieving good health is also giving back to society. It is amazing what service to community will do for all areas of health. I think you will like taking to Carolyn.
All my best,
Cindy

October 11, 2012 at 9:03 am
I am also eating very healthly I am not allowed to eat gluten my pian is also by my back but not that sore I have lost 3kgs just in the last 5 days ???
October 11, 2012 at 10:06 am
Hi Rachel. So sorry about your problem. There isn’t anyway to know what the cause of your discomfort is WITHOUT going to the Dr. If I had lost 3kgs in 5 days, I would go ASAP. Remember, if they can’t find anything wrong, that is still a diagnosis. —a good diagnosis. If the Dr. can’t find anything then working on cleansing the liver is a very good decision in my opinion. I would be glad to get you in contact with someone who can talk to you if you would like. But first it is very important you see the Dr. The pain you are describing really needs to be looked at. Once you know what is the cause of the pain, then you can start doing something about it.
Sincerely,
Cindy
PS Let me know if you want someone to call or email you. I could send you the email or phone number of a very good Wellness Consultant who would be happy to talk to you about your problem.

May God bless you.

October 22, 2012 at 1:37 am
I am sorry there is somethings wrong, but I am happy you are finding out about them. Treatment can be long, but it will be worth it. Your attitude and your experience will help a lot of people. Let us know how it is going.
As you get treatment from the doctors, I can’t emphasize enough how important Pi-mag water is. I am not just saying it because I sell it, I am saying it because it is true. Your body is 75 to 85% water. If the water you drink is not absorbed by the cells of your body to build them and wash toxins away, you can not be healthy. Do you know what all disease is caused from? Sick cells. Water is the basic building block of the cell. It helps the medications and nutrition be more effective.
Water will help, but you must follow the doctors orders.
All my best,
Cindy

That is good. I am so glad the Dr. have something to help. Now it is us to you to do what you can to make yourself healthy and give the medicines the very best chance of working without causing harmful side effects.
I am so glad you are drinking good water. That is the best thing you can begin with. It is extreamly important to do all you can do.
Best Wishes, Cindy

Philppa,
Sorry I missed your post in the Christmas rush. I hope you are alright. None of this sounds any good. I know what I would do if I were you, but you will have to ask me. We need to talk. A post here wont help you much except to say you need to do something. You need to do something different or you will get the same results you have been having. Let me help guide you back to heath. It is worth it. You are worth it. BTW where do you live?

I have had a dull liver for quite sometime coming and going, in general I am often very I’ll and it is required to take antibiotics but I think the antibiotics either affect the liver or my illness comes from it, have done few tests but never something sure , I start thinking might be liver cancer or i am just paranoid please share your opinion on the reasons that might cause it
January 11, 2013 at 3:48 am
Alex,
You need to get a diagnosis. Ruling things out (like cancer) is very important. It is much easier to prevent damage than to repair it, but you have to know what is wrong first! Then when you are healthy, you ‘maintain’ your health with preventative measure, like doing a liver cleanse once or twice a year. I have seen some amazing things with the Nikken Liver Support in helping the body heal itself. If you would like I could have an independent wellness consultant call you. But, really the first thing you need to do is go to the doctor. Do you have health insurance?
Also, you need to drink pi-mag water. It really does help the body heal itself. We are 75% water. If the water you are drinking and showering in is polluted, the cells of your body will be polluted and then they become diseased. I promise you, the pi-mag water will not cost you anything, it will pay for itself in medical savings.
Please contact me if you want to know more. It is your health. Take charge of it.
Cindy

I had HELLP Syndrome when I was pregnant causing my liver to swell with blood and shut down. Now if I bend over or move my abdomen the wrong way I feel something slip upwards and become pinched under ribcage, directly under right breast, close to sternum. Not sure if it’s my lung, liver, a muscle, intestine or what!? I get dizzy/faint, and it hurts to breath. . A couple times it was so intense that my hands and face tingled as though falling asleep and my right side became so week I collapsed to the ground. My doc looked at me like I have five heads and told me to take ibprofin so I’m doing my own healing work in natural ways! The last thing I need is tylenol ot ibprofin, especially if it’s a swollen liver! A friend said he experienced the same pain due to cirosis induced liver swelling but later experienced identical pain due to bulging discs in spine. I do have chronic mid back pain that is only relieved by laying down, though it’s excruciating come 4-5àm. I’m only 28 and I know I shouldn’t be in this much pain all the time…and I take care of my body. Definitely going to swtch over to mainly vegetarian, raw, gluten free diet though as my grandmother and mom suffer from gluten and sugar intolerance as well as rheumatoid arthritis. So whether this pain is a swollen liver left over from HELLP, muscular, spinal, dietary, intestinal or all of the above….what I do know amd agree with Cindy on, is that the body will heal itself. You have to listen intuitively based on what your body is feeling, and eventually you will come to understand what it needs to facilitate it’s natural healing process. One thing that has helped me greatly is grazing, eating small snack throughout day instead of meals and avoiding food after 5, 8 at the latest. My body then doesn’t have to spend so much time digesting and processing food, ich takes up a lot of our body’s metabolism that would otherwise be used to cleanse the body of toxins/waste and heal. Night time is when the body does the most cleansing /healing and that’s why eating a lot in evening or night takes energy away from the body’s healing work, and overworks the digestion. I hav been resting more soundly, with less intense morning pain, and less morning bowel movements now tha I’ve cut down evening eating!

Further, because unhealthy eating habits can lead to
a buildup of harmful toxins in the body (which can subsequently lead to weight gain and poor health), adding a
daily enzyme supplement to your diet may also
help rid the body of toxic chemicals. Sometimes after infection or years of unhealthy living these good bacteria can die off and leave you with a
bad balance of bad bacteria to good bacteria. Fruit and veggies are well balanced, diminished calorie
snacks lots of pets have a good time with.

If it were me, I would take this liver cleanse. It is one of my best sellers and very effective and important. If your liver hurts… your body hurts. The liver is so very important to almost every function in the body. It is a filter… so it might not be the liver that is unhealthy… just overworked. But if it is unhealthy… it may be, this pill will help restore it back to good health. I make no medical claims here… I am just stating what research and my experience has been. It is a good place to start at least…
